The Sirui K-30x Ball Head is made of sturdy materials and features a quick-release plate, tilt, and pan controls, as well as an Arca style clamp for attaching the device. The three knobs for quick-release, tilt, and pan are separate, while the tension and ball-locking knobs are integrated into the body.

The K-30x head tilts 90 degrees for portrait orientation. Its quick-release plate features a rubberized coating that prevents the camera from twisting when it's rotated 90 degrees. Its interior ball locking mechanism has a 0.01mm sphere tolerance, and its orientation-memory locking ring features a high load capacity. The head's secondary release button also adds stability and security to the overall package.

The K-30x Ballhead conforms to standard sizes and can be used with compatible plates. Its three control knobs allow users to precisely control the orientation of their cameras, whether they're digital cameras such as a 35mm or a camcorder. For added precision, the pan can be adjusted while maintaining a steady tilt, and there's a degree indicator at the base of the pan.

CNC-machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, the K-30x is treated with an oxidation process for a durable and high-quality finish.

The quick-release platform features two bubble levels for easy framing. These levels allow you to set up your framing to the horizon in either landscape or portrait orientation. Its friction-control knob is integrated into the head's body, and it allows you to adjust the ball's resistance. The aluminum alloy quick-release plate is also equipped with a stainless steel frame.
