The iOptron SkyGuider Pro camera mount is a precision tracking head with silent, smooth operation. This full set includes both the tracking head and Alt-Azimuth adjustment base. With 4 tracking rates to choose from, the ability to mount on any 3/8" or 1/4" camera ball head and to work in either the Northern or Southern hemispheres the SkyGuider Pro is a versatile and exceptionally high-performance portable imaging mount. This tracker is ideal for night landscape imaging allowing you to track at 1/2 sidereal for perfect stars and foreground.
iOptron SkyGuider Pro Camera Mount Head and Base
The iOptron SkyGuider Pro is a high precision equatorial style tracking mount with silent tracking, a built-in battery for easy recharging and powering, an ST4 guide port and an additional port to attach an optional hand controller plus a built-in high precision illuminated polar scope. With iOptron's handy phone app, you can locate the exact location of the pole star, making alignment easy and fast. iOptron's DEC mounting bracket will allow you to balance heavy camera loads or a secondary telescope. With four tracking rates, 1x sidereal, 1/2x for landscape tracking shots or nightscape photography, lunar, solar and the ability to work in both the Southern and Northern hemispheres, the iOptron SkyGuider Pro is a versatile tracking mount. Smart features like a bi-directional quick slew mode make this a next-generation tracking mount capable of more precise and complex astro imaging than previous generations.
This package includes the SkyGuider Pro head which is an EQ style tracking head and the Alt-Azimuth adjustment base. The Alt-Azimuth base includes a bubble level and allows for perfect framing if your images.
